A place of rest, enjoyment and lingering. After more than 6 years we were back in the cattle barn and, despite the crazy C ... time, received an uncomplicated and warm welcome, served very nicely and enjoyed very good food again. A jewel in hectic times, in the middle of nature.

Very cozy eatery and ideal for a stopover on a hike. Dishes fresh and with ingredients from the region. The employees are very nice and the service is very good. Also suitable as a destination for a winter hike, in the entrance area there is a fireplace that spreads cozy warmth.

Any time. Great staff, good cuisine and great ambience. Prices a bit steep but still reasonable. Dogs are welcome. Big plus :) We will be back :)

One of the two waitresses sometimes seemed quite annoying because she commented aloud on each of your work steps or gave snotty answers. When asked about the ingredients in the potato salad, the ham should also be mentioned. Then stopped

We stopped here as part of an e-bike tour. Unfortunately, we didn't ask all the waiters if we could sit down in the shade and then get paid for our vacation. But we could still enjoy the food and drinks in the great atmosphere. Without the "Harzer scratchiness" in the service it would be a really great experience there.

The Waldgaststätte Rinderstall can only be reached on foot or by bike. That makes it an even more idyllic place. At our own request, we were able to sit outside under the waterproof parasols even in the rain without getting wet and it was great to enjoy the view of nature. We found the food really good and the prices absolutely reasonable. The service was also friendly. We can only recommend a visit.

We were welcomed super friendly even though we arrived totally wet after a rain shower. Blankets were given and a dryer was offered! Conclusion: great people, great service and delicious food!

A super nice restaurant in St. Andreasberg - near Braunlage. The restaurant cannot be reached by car. There is a parking lot (Oderhaus) nearby, from there a direct path leads to the restaurant. To walk about 30 minutes from the parking lot. The parking lot itself can also be reached by bus line 820. The stop is directly at the parking lot. The service is very friendly and attentive. The restaurant is in a fantastic location. We didn't eat anything, but the dishes all looked very good and plentiful. The restaurant itself is very nicely designed. Dogs are allowed. The way there is worth it!

Beautiful location. The service is excellent, friendly, quick and eager to please. You should be there early if you want to choose your place yourself, it fills up quickly. The way from the Oderhaus parking lot is not too long and easy to walk.
